Augusto Lima holds a degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Electronics from the School of Engineering at FAAP - São Paulo, a Master's in Electrical Engineering from the University of São Paulo (1997), as well as a Master's in Electrical Engineering from the University of Ottawa - Canada (2010), and a Ph.D. from Carleton University - Ottawa - Canada (2016). He is currently a consultant in the Telecommunications field for various companies in Canada, the USA, and Brazil. His research interests focus on Full Duplex Radios, RF Front-Ends, MIMO, MU-MIMO, and Artificial Intelligence. He has professional experience in R&D development (Research and Development). In Telecommunications, he has conducted research on adaptive algorithms applied to FPGAs and ASICs. He has worked for large international companies such as STMicroelectronics (Canada and Brazil) in the Satellite field and DELL Technologies (Canada), developing algorithms for 5G radios. Augusto has several publications, two patents, one book chapter, and a book in progress in the field of Mathematical Tools Applied to AI.
